Living with and caring for an older cat or dog can be extremely rewarding.  As trusted family members for many years, it is reassuring to know that you will be able to offer them a happy, active, and meaningful life after 12, 15, 18, or in some cases even 20 years of companionship.  It is equally rewarding for our vets, who have sometimes known these pets since they were kittens or puppies.

What does senion pet care look like?

• Biannual Physical Examinations – as pets age, it is important to have more frequent periodic exams of all body systems and vital signs, along with a discussion of any questions or concerns

• Periodic Blood Testing, including Senior Wellness Blood Testing

• Weight & Dietary Management

• Exercise Physical Therapy

• Arthritis Recognition & Control

• Pain Management
